Virginia Crooks - Bio 

I was born in Cuba and lived in Jamaica during my teenage years, but it was here in Canada that my love of art was born.  It has become my passion.

My interest in art has led me to seek professional and semi-professional instruction in order to learn the fundamentals of painting as I launch into this journey of self-expression.

I enjoy the challenge of painting and cannot wait to see the image emerge.  I like to show my work and hope that the viewer will enjoy the experience as much as I enjoy painting it.  I currently work primarily in acrylic as I explore abstraction.

My work is in several private collections in Canada, the US and Australia.
