Born and raised in Calgary, I discovered my passion for art and photography during high school and have been nurturing it ever since. Through dedicated study in art courses and workshops, along with mentorship under talented professional artists, I have continued to grow and refine my creative voice.
Art has been a constant and meaningful presence in my life — guiding me through both joyful and challenging seasons. It is not only a creative outlet but a source of comfort, inspiration, and fulfillment. Living on the Canadian prairies deeply influences my work. I am especially inspired by the beauty of my own backyard: expansive prairie landscapes, dramatic skies, striking mountain views, vibrant sunsets, whimsical animal characters, and the imaginative adventures of childhood. I love working from my own photographic references, captured during personal explorations, and transforming those moments into expressive, heartfelt paintings.

“Precision has always been a fascination. My works are created entirely from memory, which is unfortunate, because my memory of what a human body looks like is apparently a circle on top with five lines coming out of it.
Through my process I develop original interpretations of the world around me. By simplifying and reducing, I can showcase the essential truth of any subject — that at its core, everything can be expressed in five lines or fewer. My loop-da-loops demonstrate a mastery of the continuous curve. My snowflakes contain multitudes.
So, as you can no doubt tell, I am an artist. Maybe? Probably... Yes, probably.”
