I have always been a creative person and have been fascinated by all things artistic. When I was growing up, I remember seeing the Northern Lights from our backyard, and being stricken with awe. This may be the seed to my present love for painting the beauty of the expansive sky. Ever since I began to paint, I have really enjoyed painting our dramatic Alberta skyscapes, attempting to capture the vastness of the landscape in a fleeting moment of spectacular atmospheric condition.
I also paint other subject matter of interest and am open to doing commissions, including pet portraits.
My artwork has been shown in various exhibitions since 1987, and I am a proud member of the Calgary Sketch Club (CSC) and the Calgary Creative Arts Guild (CCAG).

“Precision has always been a fascination. My works are created entirely from memory, which is unfortunate, because my memory of what a human body looks like is apparently a circle on top with five lines coming out of it.
Through my process I develop original interpretations of the world around me. By simplifying and reducing, I can showcase the essential truth of any subject — that at its core, everything can be expressed in five lines or fewer. My loop-da-loops demonstrate a mastery of the continuous curve. My snowflakes contain multitudes.
So, as you can no doubt tell, I am an artist. Maybe? Probably... Yes, probably.”
